Community Investment Funding
Community Investment Fund
Getting involved in your community doesn't just mean helping shape our services – it can also mean supporting local projects and organisations that make a positive difference where you live.
Ore Valley Housing Association's Community Investment Fund provides financial support to local community groups, charities and not-for-profit organisations delivering projects that benefit residents and communities. The fund is supported by income generated from our wind turbine in Cardenden.
We welcome applications from organisations delivering projects that:
- Create Opportunities by supporting education, training, employment or skills development.
- Empower Communities by building resilience and supporting vulnerable residents.
- Create Sustainable Places by improving local environments, biodiversity, heritage or community facilities.
Additional consideration is given to projects that demonstrate value for money, strong community involvement, long-term sustainability and a positive impact on the local economy.
We encourage our tenants to spread the word about the fund and let local groups, clubs, charities and organisations know that financial support may be available for projects that benefit the local community.
Funding is available from £100 upwards for eligible not-for-profit organisations.
If you know of a group or project that could benefit from funding, please contact us for more information.
