Gas Servicing

As your Landlord we are legally required to carry out an annual gas service to your gas heating.

It is extremely important that you give us access to your home to carry out this work so that we can make sure that your gas heating is working properly and safely. You will receive a copy of the servicing report (CP12) direct from the contractor on the day your heating is serviced.

We currently carry out gas safety checks on a 10 month cycle. It is essential that you allow the Engineers access to do this work. Our contractor shall call you to arrange a suitable date for the service to be carried out.  If you are not at home, they will leave you a card saying that they called. We will then send you a letter within a few days with a new date for their engineer to attend.

The engineer will try 3 times to carry out the service. If you have not given them access by the 3rd visit, we will cap your meter if it is external and you will be recharged for this.  We will take further action if you have an internal meter by gaining access into the property and you will be recharged for this visit.

BY LAW AND FOR YOUR SAFETY GAS SERVICING HAS TO BE CARRIED OUT EVERY YEAR
