Ore Valley Housing Association is paying close attention to developments associated with COVID-19. Our main priority is to ensure the safety of our tenants, staff and business contacts. One of the main methods of achieving this is to minimise the contact that we have with each other.

We will endeavour to ensure that we continue to provide you with the best possible and friendliest service we can.

In order to limit the risk ,in as much that we can, and following guidance on ‘social distancing’ we would recommend that visits to our offices are avoided unless absolutely necessary. We would encourage anyone who needs to contact us to do so via other methods, our phone number is 01592 721917 and the general email address is ovha@orevalleyha.org.uk. Our tenant portal is also a good way of getting in touch.

We are aware that the situation is changing very quickly and arrangements may need to be changed at short notice. It seems almost inevitable that some staff may become infected, and that this may result in a requirement for staff to self isolate. Although there are no immediate plans to close our offices this may become necessary at some point in the future.

All of our staff have access to our computer and telephone systems using available technology, which will allow continued contact with us as required, if or when individual staff need to work from home or from another location.

It is possible that we may at times find ourselves short of staff, or that our repairs and maintenance contractors have staff who are ill. In these circumstances we will continue to do everything that we can, but some services may be affected, and we will prioritise our work in order to address the most urgent and pressing issues first.

If you do find that you are experiencing any difficulty as a result of Coronavirus (COVID-19) please get in touch with us so that we can provide you with whatever advice and support we can.

We will make available further information in relation to how Coronavirus affects our services as soon as it becomes available.
