Lochgelly Regeneration

Ore Valley's part in the regeneration of Lochgelly started in 2006 and continued until 2012. Where Ore Valley's subsidiary company Fife HARCA (now known as Ore Valley Community Initiatives) oversaw the renovation of the Miner's Institute and the build of the Ore Valley Business Centre, it is Ore Valley Housing Association that own and let out the 6 retail units on Main Street.

These retail units have attracted a wide variety of businesses from gift shops, to dog groomers, to everyone's favourite bakers, Baynes. Above the retail units are flats, also owned and let by the housing association.
