Ore Valley Housing Association in partnership with Fife Council and the Scottish Government, working with TPAS Scotland, will be co-hosting a consultation event on the future standards for energy efficiency in social housing on Tuesday the 5th of June 2018.
The event will run from 9.30am to 12.00pm at the City Chambers in Dunfermline and is part of a national series of events aimed at consulting on the future of the standards.
The Energy Efficiency Standards for Social Housing (EESSH) aims to improve the energy efficiency of social housing in Scotland. It will help to reduce energy consumption, fuel poverty and the emission of greenhouse gases across Scotland.
The standard will also contribute to reducing carbon emissions by 42% by 2020, and 80% by 2050, in line with the requirements set out in the Climate Change (Scotland) Act 2009.
