The Scottish Housing Regulator’s role is to protect the interests of tenants, homeless people and others who use the social landlord services.
This year’s rent review is different from previous years, because as well as looking at our overall income requirements, we have been going through a rent restructure exercise in order to identify a fairer and more transparent way of establishing a rent figure for every property.
Following consultation with our tenants we will be restructuring our rent levels from 1st April 2016 based on the size and type of your property. This simplified approach means that we will be adjusting all our rent levels so that everyone will pay the same rent for properties of the same type and size.
Our next meeting with the residents of Mid-Market Rent properties in the Rosewell Drive area will be on Tuesday 11th August at 6pm.
