"Our Power Community Benefit Society is a membership organisation of Social Landlords, Local Authorities and community controlled organisations. We aim to challenge the status quo of the energy generation and supply market to help reduce household energy bills and increase community resilience to fuel poverty."

OurPower is the first non-profit energy company in the UK, founded by 35 housing associations and local authorities. All the members of the Fife Housing Association Alliance plus Fife Council are part of OurPower, which aims to reduce fuel poverty by passing on cheaper fuel to tenants. The official launch was the 16th July 2015, with a full role-out by 2020.
