The Cardenden Heat And Power project aims to deliver affordable, low carbon heat and hot water to residents of Cardenden through the use of a biomass-fed heat network. Combined heat and power systems are popular in mainland Europe but this will be one of the first in Scotland.

 

Our Fife Community Wind project is developing a number of community-owned wind turbines at sites across Fife. The project aims to deliver revenue streams from the re-sale of the ‘green’ electricity generated back to the grid with the proceeds of this sale used for various local community benefits.

Oour broadband project is exploring the possibility of a high-speed fibre-optic network for Cardenden as a partner project alongside our CHAP development.
