Over the past number of years the Association has developed and expanded it’s provision of both housing and non housing related services to the communities we work within.

Ore Valley Housing Association is involved in a number of different aspects of housing, development and wider role. We are members of a number of working partnerships with other housing providers in Fife.

The Association also has two subsidiary companies; Ore Valley Enterprises Ltd. and Fife HARCA Ltd.
Ore Valley Enterprises has one main project, 2nd Time Around, which is a furniture Recycling Project.
Fife HARCA along with large grants upgraded and purchased the Lochgelly Miners Institute, which is leased to Adam Smith College and Fife Women's Technology Centre to provide training.

As our Wider Role Strategy develops we hope to take forward a range of inovative projects in the future. The strategy will develop and evolve to meet local priorities. For further information please go to the Wider Role page on this site.

Ore Valley Housing Association is a partner in the Fife Housing Register (FHR), which is a Common Housing Register that allows applicants to apply for housing with Ore Valley and Glen HA, Fife Council and with effect from the end of 2007 both Kingdom and Fife Special HAs will be linked in. Ore Valley HA is a partner in the Fife Housing Association Alliance, which comprises of Ore Valley, Kingdom, Fife Special and Glen HAs. This Alliance became the preferred developer for Fife Council for all of Fife and undertake all the new build for Housing Associations in the Fife Area. Fife HARCA (Housing Association Regeneration Community Alliance) Ltd. is a company limited by guarantee with charitable status. The company was established and is jointly owned by Ore Valley, Kingdom & Glen Housing Association's. Fife HARCA was established and incorporated in order to deliver non-housing related regeneration projects across Fife.
